Getting Started with ExpandIt

Installation

1. Visit the Chrome Web Store, Edge Add-ons Store, or Firefox Add-ons
2. Search for "ExpandIt"
3. Click "Add to Browser"
4. The extension icon will appear in your toolbar

Creating Your First Snippet

1. Click the ExpandIt icon in your toolbar
2. Click "New Snippet"
3. Enter a shortcut (e.g., "/hello")
4. Enter the expanded text (e.g., "Hello! Thank you for reaching out.")
5. Click "Save"

Using Snippets

Type your shortcut in any text field and press Tab to expand it. The shortcut will be replaced with the full text instantly.
